Consuming plenty of vegetables and fruits, taking omega-3 supplements, and restricting your intake of added sugar are all popular dieting techniques that have been proven to slow down the aging process.

1 — Green tea
Green tea is one of the healthiest teas available, especially when it comes to the slowing of the aging process.
“Green tea is high in antioxidants, which have a variety of health advantages including the prevention of illness, inflammation reduction, and even cancer prevention. These antioxidants operate in the body to prevent and treat cellular damage caused by pollutants and free radicals, which could cause metabolism to slow down considerably. We get them from plants, amino acids, and phytonutrients in the food we consume and the teas that we drink, such as green tea,” explains Trista Best, a registered dietitian.
2 — Rooibos tea
Although rooibos is not as popular as green or black tea, it does have several health advantages for aging.
“Rooibos tea has a potent antioxidant called superoxide dismutase (SOD), which is present in all living cells. Superoxide dismutase has anti-aging effects and may aid in the prevention of wrinkles. Rooibos tea also includes alpha hydroxy acid, one of dermatologists’ most common skin treatments (particularly to assist with wrinkle reduction),” explains Courtney D’Angelo, a registered dietitian and author at Go Wellness.
3 — Hibiscus tea

4 — Black tea
For those who still want a dose of caffeine with their morning or late afternoon tea, black tea is ideal.
For the similar reasons as green tea, black tea has been found to help with anti-aging. However, because the leaves have been allowed to oxidize and become black, they are slightly less healthy than green tea is, which hasn’t yet oxidized.
