73yo Schwarzenegger Reveals His Secret To Never-Ending Energy

Arnold Schwarzenegger routinely shares videos and photos of his fitness training workouts, lifting weights with the same dedication and passion in his seventies that caused him to be superstar of the fitness world as a young man, over four decades ago. Even having heart surgery in 2019 didn’t stop him for long.

The actor just gave some new insight into his daily routine that keeps him energized, in response to a question from a fan. The question came from someone who was at the start of their fitness efforts at the age of 52, and asked Schwarzenegger for tips about starting their day to get energy.

“I get my energy by doing what I enjoy, stuff that gets me closer to my goal,” Schwarzenegger responded. “I can be going through a movie script and I will fall asleep fast. But when I play a game of chess, I’m wide awake. This morning, I woke up at 4:00 am and did a zoom call with the EPA. That’s early even for me, but I was awake because of my vision about my environmental summit being a huge success. So find what your vision is and you will get your energy.”

“As far as what I do to begin my day, I just do,” he said. “I get my coffee and read the paper, then I go on a bike ride to Gold’s Gym, get my workout, and then bike ride to get some breakfast. At this time in my day, my mind is already clear, the hard part is done, and I can focus on what I need to for the rest of my day.”

Schwarzenegger has previously revealed the importance of keeping a good daily routine, as having consistent habits eventually turns into second nature, and he says in his newsletter. “What has kept me in line is that I never think about it,” he said. “It is ingrained into me. There is no thinking. I just out of bed and everything starts. The next few hours are automatic.”
