Tim McGraw, the world famous 53-year-old musician, is appearing leaner than ever before, showing off his six-pack abs and muscular physique.
McGraw’s drive to keep fit is not exactly a secret—he has joined with gyms like SnapFitness in the past to put out his own equipment line inspired by his go-to workout equipment, including battle ropes, TRX straps, kettlebells and more.
Workouts like these helped him push through a dramatic physical change in his 40s, inspired by his daughter seeing him on stage and saying he looked “big on screen.”
The singer worked on his diet first—removing burgers and other “truck stop junk food,” he said—and working on staying active. His long walks then led to runs, HIIT, and more. Now he cannot imagine going without working out, which give him energy and endurance to keep his high performance going.
“I don’t get tired of exercising,” he said to Men’s Health two years ago. “There is such a great feeling from being my age and still being at the top of my game.”
